One of my favorite short stories is “The Masque of the Red Death” by Edgar Allan Poe. I was inspired by the descriptive way in which he wrote the scenery as well as the many themes that relate to modern times. Additionally, I hand-lettered the title to add more texture and to provide a main focal point.
