I designed and screen printed postcards that give viewers insight into the typeface family that I created. When designing the six different typefaces, I challenged myself to be confined to the isometric grid, hence the name, Nisometric (nice and isometric combined).
The postcards are from the NeverBoord type foundry, which is technically located in my brain. To illustrate brain waves, I spelled out “Nisometric” in the regular, round, and thin typefaces. Then, I warped and distorted them to create a unique pattern for each postcard. Can you spot “Nisometric” in the designs?
